Our latest model, the Craft series -WL4BM-ALD- comes to you from the hands of one of our assembly teams!
This model uses burl maple for the body top, which gives it a gorgeous and luxurious finish.
The "burl" in burl maple means “slub” or “lump”. Burl is derived from the masses that form on the surface of the tree, usually caused by lost branches or bark damage, but there are many unidentified causes for them. As you would expect from the complex grain of burl wood, it is difficult to use because of its tendency to twist and warp. But although it is a difficult material to use, its intricate and beautiful grain creates a demand for it.
Color Lineup
NA-MAT (Natural Matte)
BLU-GRD-MH
GRN-GRD-MH
RED-GRD-MH
The gradation from the color to matte natural finish allows the beautiful grain to be appreciated!
For the headstock, a matching burl maple veneer is used and colored accordingly to fully match the body aesthetic.
Downsized body shape and slanted joint
The body-back is a see-through monochromatic color to match each color. The downsized shape is slightly slimmer than a full-size body, making it easier to hold, and the slanted joint is another point that benefits its playability.
Turbo switch & controls
Equipped with a turbo switch, which when turned on by pulling up the tone knob, connects both single pickups in series to create a thicker sound as a pseudo-humbucking pickup.
